Dr.Stepanyan
Dr. Stepanyan grew up in Yerevan, Armenia, before moving to Los Angeles as a teenager. He earned his bachelor's degree with honors from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and obtained his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine. He then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, Irvine, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Stepanyan further specialized by completing an orthopedic sports medicine and arthroscopy fellowship at the Congress Orthopedic Group in Pasadena, California. He then pursued additional training in joint replacement and adult arthroplasty at the world-renowned University of Pennsylvania.
In 2024, Dr. Stepanyan joined LA Orthopedic Surgery Specialists. With dual fellowship training, he focuses on joint preservation, arthroscopic management of joint issues, and minimally invasive joint replacements for the shoulder, hip, and knee. His primary goal is to help patients improve their quality of life and return to the activities they enjoy. He has a special interest in robotics, minimally invasive joint replacement, and outpatient total joint arthroplasty. In his free time, Dr. Stepanyan enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with his family.
